School bus crash
There was a school bus crash that killed one and injured twenty four others. The bus fell about twenty feet off the road.

Diet Soda and Strokes
People who regularly drink diet soda over regular have a 48% higher risk to get a stroke. Over a nine year study 559 people who drank diet soda suffered from a vascular disorder. They say however do not think regular soda is a healthy alternative. This information is taken from Time.

Wing Bowl
In this year's Wing Bowl, Super Squibb beat out former title holder El Wingador by one wing. Squibb will be back next year to defend his title against the likes of Kobayashi. Kobayashi also ate a footlong cheesesteak in 24 seconds, breaking the previous record of 48 seconds.
