Big Eagles news

Michael Vick will reportedly be given the franchise tag by the Eagles. This means that Kevin Kolb will most likely be traded.

Eagles kicker David Akers' daughter has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She is only six years old and has had her tumor removed. I hope for the best for the Akers family. Information provided from ESPN and the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Kelly's tough choice

Representative Gifford's husband, Mark Kelly, has to decide whether or not he wants to continue on with his planned space mission. Likely his last trip to space, Kelly has to decide whether or not he will be able to emotionally handle his wife's rehabilitation while he is training and then in space. It's official

Comcast took control over NBC Universal. They were able to come to an agreement before the midnight Friday deadline. Comcast now owns 51% of NBC which is the fourth largest broadcaster. Information from the AP.
